Botany: | A perennial climbing shrub, rooting ivy- like, with stout branches, the branch lets hirsute; leaves simple, alternate, coriacious, ovate, acute or obtusely acuminate, obtuse or sub cordate at the base, sparsely hirsute, 5-7 ribbed from the base or close to it, upto 10 cm long and 5 cm broad. Spikes pendulous, filiform; female spikes very slender. When young, approximately 5 cm long; male spikes naroow, elongate. |
