P.subpeltatum

  Habit         :A succulent shrub with very thick, stout stem and branches, branches soft.
  Leaves     :Very large, long-petioled, membranous, orbicular-cordate, glabrous or puberulous beneath, nerves flabellate. Leaves a foot diam. Or less, acute or tip rounded, deeply cordate with a narrow sinus; petiole 15 - 25 cm., with a narrow deciduous wing.
  Spikes      :Erect, 3-7 together, 7.5 - 12.5 cm. long very shortly pedicelled; bracts pedicelled, peltate, triangular or 1/2-lunar, ciliate; stamens 2; stigmas 3.
  Flowers    :Very minute.
  Fruits        :Very minute, trigonous, cuneiform, truncate.
