P.colocasiae

P.colocasiae was first described as the casual agent of leaf spot of taro. Sporangia are semipapillate, caduceus, ovoid or sometimes fusiform. Antheridia are amphigynous and subterminal; oogonia are globose. P.colocasiae are heterothallic. The optimum growth temperature is 27-30 degree Celsius.
