Bean leaf roll virus (BLRV) is a plant pathogenic virus belonging to the genus Luteovirus. It mainly in the Leguminous hosts. Alfalfa Michigan virus, Legume yellows virus, Pea leaf roll virus, Pea tip yellowing virus, Pea top yellows virus are different Synonyms commonly seen.

Commonly seen in Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and throughout Leguminosae growing regions in India.
Particle Morphology
A isometric virus with RNA-containing particles of about 27 nm in diameter.
Transmission Method
Transmitted by a vector Myzus persicae, Aphis craccivora, Acyrthosiphon pisum (Aphididae) in a persistent manner; not transmitted by mechanical inoculation; transmitted by grafting and not by seed.
