Yellow vein mosaic disease of croton is caused by Croton yellow vein mosaic virus belonging to the genus Begomovirus.

Geminate particles

Virus transmitted by vector whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci) in a persistent manner. Also transmitted by mechanical inoculation and by grafting.
