Introduction

Tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV) is a plant pathogenic virus in the plant virus family Comoviridae. The virus has a wide host range that includes field grown crops, ornamentals and weeds.

Nicotiana tabacum(Tobacco)Necrotic spots, mottling, chlorotic ringspots and vein banding.
Gladiolus grandiflorusNecrotic spots, mottling and flower colour breaking.
Solanum melongena (Brinjal)Conspicuous chlorotic concentric rings on the leaves and fruits.
Chillivein clearing followed by netting and chlorotic rings on leaves.
