Introduction
Tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV) is a plant pathogenic virus in the plant virus family Comoviridae. The virus has a wide host range that includes field grown crops, ornamentals and weeds.

| Nicotiana tabacum(Tobacco) | Necrotic spots, mottling, chlorotic ringspots and vein banding. |
| Gladiolus grandiflorus | Necrotic spots, mottling and flower colour breaking. |
| Solanum melongena (Brinjal) | Conspicuous chlorotic concentric rings on the leaves and fruits. |
| Chilli | vein clearing followed by netting and chlorotic rings on leaves. |
