Introduction

Occurrence of Hippeastrum mosaic virus on amaryllis (Hippeastrum Hybridum), a popular bulbous ornamental plant was reported based on partial sequencing of the virus. Amaryllis mosaic virus is commonly seen strain.

Transmission Method

Host Range and Symptomatology

Hippeastrum HybridumSevere mosaic accompanied with light green to yellow stripes on leaves, affected plant bore small sized flowers.
