Introduction
Chickpea chlorotic dwarf virus (CpCDV) Chickpea chlorotic dwarf virus (CpCDV) is a member of the Mastrevirus, the disease caused by which is characterized by reddening of leaflets, phloem browning and plant stunting. The majority of mastreviruses infect monocotyledonous plants. However, a small number of mastreviruses have been identified that infect only dicotyledonous plants
