Lily mottle virus

Introduction

Lily mottle virus (LMoV) infects lily causing mosaic, mottling and vein clearing. In mixed infections, the plants showed severe mosaic, leaf deformation and stunting of the plants. It is a single stranded RNA virus belonging to the genus Potyvirus.

By mechanical sap inoculation and by the aphid, M. persicae in non-persistent manner.
