Introduction
Wheat streak mosaic virus causes streak mosaic disease, a serious and widely distributed disease of winter wheat. Also infects barley, corn, rye, oat and a number of grasses. The disease is characterized by systemic mosaic symptoms with interveinal reddening to mosaic with interveinal reddening and necrosis within the red areas.
