Introduction
Chickpea bushy dwarf virus (CpBDV) is a plant pathogenic virus belongs to the genus Potyvirus infects Cicer arietinum. It is also known as Chickpea bushy stunt virus. The virus is transmissible to 14 species of Chenopodiaceae, Leguminosae, Solanaceae and Malvacea.

Virions are usually flexuous filamentous particle of 710±10 nm long.
