Particle Morphology

Geminate particle not enveloped 15-18 nm in diameter and 15 and 30 nm in length.

Transmission Method

Transmitted by a vector Bemisia tabaci in a semi-persistent manner; not transmitted by mechanical inoculation; not transmitted by seed.

Detection

ELISA and PCR.
