Introduction
Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) is a Potyvirus that causes diseases in cruciferous plants. TuMV is a positive-sense single stranded RNA virus.

Particle Morphology
Flexuous rod shaped particles of 740 × 12 nm.
Transmission Method
The virus was transmitted in a non-persistent manner by Myzus persicae, Brevicoryne brassicae and Aphis gossypii; transmitted by sap; not transmitted by seed.
