Objectives

  1. Disease Management

Procedure / Summary

Bioformulation Ingradients P. fluorescens: DTPF-3 Suspension of P. fluorescens (400 ml) containing 109 CFU ml-1 mixed with fine grade Talc powder (1 kg), calcium carbonate (15 g) and CMC (10 g) B. subtilis: DTBS-5 Suspension of B. subtilis (400 ml) containing 109 CFU ml-1 mixed with fine grade Talc powder (1 kg), calcium carbonate (15 g) and CMC (10 g) B. amyloliquefaciens: DSBA-11 Suspension of B. amyloliquefaciens (400 ml) containing 109 CFU ml-1 mixed with fine grade Talc powder (1 kg), calcium carbonate (15 g) and CMC (10 g)

Applications

  1.  Formulations were mixed with water at the rate of 10 gm L-1.
  2.  Before transplanting the plants should be soaked in the mixture for about 1 h before transplanting.
  3.  For soil application, soil around the plants the bacterial formulation were placed near the plant and covered with soil.
  4.  For irrigation use 100 grams of the bacterial formulation was incorporated in the rows in growing crops.
