Objectives
- To develop biological control technologies for the integrated management of major insect pests of black pepper, ginger and turmeric.
Salient Achievements
- The natural enemies of major insect pests of black pepper, ginger, turmeric, clove and cinnamon were documented
- The seasonal incidence of major natural enemies of scale insect and top shoot borer of black pepper and shoot borer of ginger and turmeric was studied.
- Technologies were developed for the integrated management of pollu beetle of black pepper, shoot borer and rhizome scale of ginger and turmeric.
